Edie Walters is an experienced Entertainment and Corporate attorney with decades of experience. She most recently worked as Senior Counsel to Paramount Global on tv shows such as Entertainment Tonight, The Doctors and Face the Truth. While at Paramount, she was responsible for all branding deals and ensuring that all content, including social media and digital platforms, were legally compliant and safe from litigation claims such as copyright infringement, defamation, right of publicity and privacy violations. This included all federal regulations related to consumer-facing content such as federal consumer protection laws (FTC) and internet-based food, health and pharmaceutical advertising (FDA), as well as broadcast television (FCC) regulations.

Prior to Paramount, Edie’s practice included international technology-based companies where she gained significant expertise in intellectual property matters surrounding digital content, website, and internal business functions.  She is also an expert negotiator and zealous advocate of her clients’ interests whose business acumen and vast experience serve to ensure that clients protect their intellectual property interests while complying with all legal requirements and obligations.
